HOW WE WORK

Phase 1 : Project Initiation Phase
Step 1 - Consultation with Britney Glass
Every project begins with either an introductory call or consultation; which can both be scheduled here. If you have general questions prior to booking a consultation please email me at britney@glasstouchinteriors.com or submit in a contact form.
Initial consultations are conducted on the project site (your home or business) for local projects. During this 2-hour design intensive we become crystal clear on your vision and design needs. We will do a full walkthrough our your spaces to be designed , discuss your inspiration and goals for each space, and provide you with our recommendations for layout, aesthetic , and overall design.
See our consultation blog post for more details.

Step 2 - Project Proposal & Design Fees
We review our design contract and scope of work with clients at the consultation to ensure transparency in our design process. Once the contract is approved, a deposit on our design fee is required before we being working on your design presentation.
After going over ideas and the turn-key installation they will have, most clients are eager to get started right away, and so am I !
**Please Note : Design Fees are provided at a fixed fee. A minimum project fee of $3500 is required on all projects.

Phase 2 : Conceptual & Detailed Design Phase

Step 3 - Measuring/Trade Day
This is where we coordinate our trusted team of trades and artisans that will be working on the project for a site visit to review the scope of work and take their applicable measurements. All estimates provided by these trades are presented to you during Step 5 - Design Presentation.
Step 4 - Conceptual Design
This is where we capture all the design elements that will be needed to make the project a reality, from furnishings to trades. We collaborate with our trades and workrooms to develop a design concept through floor plans, inspiration boards, and 3D renderings. We also select all the gorgeous furnishings, finishes, and trimmings for your presentation.
Step 5 - Design Presentation
The Detailed Design Presentation will include floor plans, mood boards, color stories, and an item-by-item slideshow of all furnishings, fixtures, material, etc. You get to visually see your design come to life through 3D renderings accompanied by coordinating fabrics, wallpaper, and finish samples.
We also present a detailed line item budget including all estimates provided by trades. One revision to your design may be requested at this meeting.
The design presentation and budget is approved by signing of the Furnishings Proposal, plus 100% deposit on the furnishing budget.

Phase 3: Project Management Phase
Step 6 - Initiation Of Construction/Procurement & Project Management
You will have access to a client portal during the duration of your project. In your portal you are able to view every detail of your project from approved design, budget by line item, item tracking , etc. Weekly project updates will also be posted through your dashboard.
This step is where we initiate all purchase orders on your behalf and project management. Project Management includes coordinating project logistics with trades/vendors, scheduling any required construction included in your project, and tracking your furnishings status and lead times.
If construction or renovations are included in your scope, we will conduct site visits to oversee trade installations.

Step 7 - Order Receipt and Initial Installations
All of your items are received to our warehouse receiver and inspected for damages in anticipation for white-glove delivery on your installation day! Any damaged arrivals are remedied by us with the applicable vendors.
Step 8 - Installation Day
Ours and our clients' favorite step, Installation Day!
All items are delivered and we style your rooms to completion ensuring that designer touch for your big reveal. Get ready for a walk-through of your new luxurious space!
Step 9 -Deficiencies Identified & Resolved
During the final walk through the client gets a chance to point out any deficiencies observed (paint drips, furniture tears , etc.) . We will coordinate resolution with the applicable vendor or trade within 14 days.
Post your installation there may be outstanding invoices related to delivery , cleaning services, accessories, etc. We will request 100% payment of these items before the Client Closure Meeting in Step 10.

Step 10 - Client Closure Meeting & Photography
We will request to schedule a day that is convenient to have a professional photographer capture your project sometime before the closure meeting.
The Closure meeting signifies the completion of our time together and we want to make sure you are not only loving your new space but know how to take care of it . At this meeting we will present you with your client binder that contains before/after photos, samples of all fabrics and finishes , all applicable warranties of your items, and maintenance instructions.
